What We Do

We help property owners, builders, architects and developers navigate bushfire compliance and planning approvals across the Macedon Ranges and Victoria.

Whether you're building a new home in a bushfire-prone area, extending an existing property, subdividing land, or dealing with a planning permit refusal, we provide the expert assessments and advice you need to move your project forward.

How It Works

Step 1 - Initial conversation: Call or email to tell us about your project. We'll let you know what's needed and provide a quote, usually within 24 hours.

Step 2 - Site assessment: We visit your property to assess vegetation, slope, and other relevant factors.

Step 3 - Report delivery: You will receive a detailed, professionally prepared report that meets council and CFA requirements.

Step 4 - Ongoing support: We respond to any council queries and support your project through to approval.

Our Approach

We focus on really listening to what our clients need. Every project is different, and we take the time to understand your goals before recommending the best path forward.

We actively work with councils and referral authorities rather than against them. Our experience on both sides of the planning counter means we know how to present applications that address the key issues upfront, reducing delays and unnecessary back-and-forth.

We're straightforward about costs, timelines, and the likelihood of success. If a project is going to face challenges, we'll tell you early so you can make informed decisions.
